Little Rays of Sunshine

Little Rays of Sunshine was originally opened as  Les Rayons de Soleil a a French only preschool in 2015. As time went on it became clear that high quality English tuition was required for the pre-schoolers in the area. So starting in January 2022 Little Rays of Sunshine will open to satisfy this need.

The most important aspect of exceptional education is the amount of time the children spend 1 on 1 with the teacher. The larger the class the less 1 on 1 time each child gets. 1 on 1 time gives the teacher time to ensure that children that need help in specific areas get that help. All children have different strengths so usually the teacher would help different children as they move through the day’s activities.

What we have seen with the years of experience is that the best results are only achieved when the class is small enough for the teacher to deliver her training to the children who need it.

Little Rays of Sunshine preschool is the nicest school in the area with a fantastic playground where the child’s safety is a priority. There is a veggie patch that has everyone growing vegies to take home and fruit trees that teach children about the abundance of nature. There is a strong focus on the children playing in a safe, calming and harmonious environment.

Our Passion and Love for Children is our driving force and we know how important Early Childhood development is.

Small Classes make for a great Education

Your Childs home away from home

Little Rays of Sunshine is a private school situated in Fourways, Johannesburg. If you are looking for a small, close knit family orientated preschool, then Little Rays of Sunshine promises exactly that. We focus on the children’s wellbeing, growth & academic development. Early childhood development is our passion. We are committed to partnering with your family in raising your child to become a stable, well rounded, happy little person.

Small classes enabling 1 on 1 time with the teacher is the foundation of an exceptional education. We pride ourselves on keeping ratios that will ensure your child gets the 1 on 1 time they need for all round development.

With early childhood development the key is noticing when a child needs support and ensuring you are there when they need it. This is often missed when the teacher cannot see the work stations of each child. The smaller class is the key to making sure this important support is given.

Another great aspect of this philosophy is that our school has a strong family feel to it, your child has the rest of their life to become just another number, we want to delay that.

Your Child should feel special!
